Sept.13th

Leaving Lorraine and Keith's we head to the farthest point east that we will get on our trip, Mira, to record our East Coast visit in sand. From here we start heading north.

And onto the Cabot Trail. We cross at Englishtown on a cable ferry for $5 for a 2 minute ride. We find an abandoned campground just outside of Indian Brook, overlooking St. Anne's Bay. Poor Phil's campground. Nice location. But it gives Indy a chance to spend a bit of time by the Atlantic waters.

We stop at MacKinnons Cove for a few viewpoint pictures, along with a few shots of a fully bloomed purple Lupin. Sadly, the weather is just not cooperating for a providing us with a breathtaking view down the coast. Our next big stop is at Black Brook beach for some pictures. There are pink rocks, beaten round by the surf, Indy and I pose for some pictures along with a seagull or two.

Neil's Harbour is just outside of the Park, and we stop in at the Chowder House for some dinner. All of the employees taken an instant like to Indy and even take her back behind the counter to do some work with them. After dinner it's a visit down to the harbour, before making our way to the campground for the night.

Hideaway Camp is our home tonight. The view is nice, and a Sportmobile, which could very well be our NEXT camping vehicle.
