It was a beautiful morning, the sun was out and the temperature was warm. We drove along the trail until we came to a hike on the Eastern side, called Skyline. The pathway takes you through forested areas and out to the coastline. Bears, moose and whales are on the list of mammals that could be viewed in this area. We do see 2 young bull moose and a black bear in the distance, but can't spot any whales from this vantage point.
The drive along the east side of the Cabot trail has been pretty nice, but in a few more weeks when the colours begin to change, this drive would be phenomenal.
On from here, we stop at Scarecrow Village, just inside Cap Le Moine, and we also find a fellow VW bus, a 72, visiting from Ontario.
Our stop tonight is at Dunvegan. We spend a bit of time at the beach, catching the last bit of sun before it disappears for the night.
