Today has been a pretty laid back day. We hung around Lund till about lunch. Did a couple shots with high and low tides.
We made a short stop at the Sliammon fish hatchery, a habitat for spawning salmon as well as a year round habitat for juvenile fish.
With a 10 minute drive we are back in Powell River. A stop at the local beach for some sun and some ice cream, then it was over to the local food mart for some items. Then a short 5 minute drive to do a hike up Valentine Mountain which gives you a view over Powell River and the area. Our camp site is right on the water front. Oh ya hot apple crisp has just come out of the oven.
