July 3rd

Onto Helena today, the capital city of Montana. It's far cry from what I would expect of a captial.

Looking for a campground and a beach, we make our way to Canyon Ferry Lake. Campgrounds are full, and the beaches are nothing more than rocky shores. The lake appears to be primarily for water recreation and fishing. Since there is no place for us to stay for the night, we make our way back towards the Walmart in Helena. There's no where to go for a walk, so to entertain ourselves, we head into Walmart with our little camera. It's amazing how a baby, the toy section and willingness to be creative will pass the evening. Luckily, Indira enjoys our foolishness.
